MCC Arifmetika LCC will roll out the BNPL service «Deli na chasti»

MCC Arifmetika is launching its own BNPL service (Buy Now Pay Later), which will be promoted under the separate brand «Deli na chasti» (eng. Divide into pieces). The new service is implemented in the format of targeted loans for the purchase of goods, it will allow buyers to pay for the goods in installments over several months. MCC Arifmetika will connect partners from retail chains and online stores to the service. Clients will have access to both a POS solution and an online service and mobile application. The company expects targeted loans to take about 35-40% of the portfolio in the med-term.
Previously, MCC Arifmetika was represented only in the segment of non-purpose medium-term loans. «Deli na chasti» service started operation in test mode in autumn of 2021 at offline points of OR GROUP — Westfalika, EmiliaEstra, Lisette, Rossita and Peshekhod store chains; and has already proved to be in high demand. The share of purchases using the service in December 2021 amounted to 47%.
“The market for BNPL solutions is rising, not only in Russia, but also globally. In 2021, several major players from the financial sphere and information technology entered this segment in our country. Demand for targeted loans will continue to grow due to changes in consumer behavior. The audience for which such a product is designed appreciates simple, convenient, understandable services that allow you to quickly make purchases and acquire the necessary services without overpaying. Another factor that will influence the market is the growth of e-commerce and the introduction of new technologies.
As part of the project, we plan to increase the pool of partners who will connect to the service, which will lead to the expansion of the target audience and client base”, comments Igor Rodyushkin, Director of MCC Arifmetika.
Customers can make a purchase for a period of 1 to 12 months. Among the partners will be retail chains and online stores. The BNPL service will be implemented both as a POS solution (Point of Sale) and online; customers will be able to use the mobile application as well.
The customer solvency is assessed on the list of parameters that the client specifies in the questionnaire when ordering the goods through «Deli na chasti» service. The client's questionnaire is being checked according to the unique scoring system developed by the MCC Arifmetika. All execution and maintenance of contracts in the company is fully automated.
